In Sol del Este near Maó, the ground floor apartment "La Gardenia 41" is part of a very quiet holiday complex near the sea, in which the residential units share one community pool and a well-kept outdoor area. The apartment consists of a light-flooded living room with a dining area, a very well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 of them with 2 single beds each) as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Amenities also include Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, fans and cable TV. With a baby cot and a highchair, the accommodation is ideal for family holidays. From the living room you have access to a small, private terrace, which is covered and equipped with a sitting area and a barbecue. One patio overlooks the large communal swimming pool, set in beautifully maintained gardens, whilst the view from the end of the other patio looks out over Mahon harbour entrance; there is ample room to spill out into the garden for al fresco dining. Fishing boats and cruise liners pass the end of the garden. The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 adults (1 double and 2 twin bedrooms) and has 1 bath/shower room and 1 shower room, both with WC. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac behind the impressive Talaiot de Trebeluger and surrounded by farmland and countryside giving you peace, tranquility and uninterrupted views. Our villa is a 15 minute drive from both the Airport and the Port of Mahon, with its bustling markets, shops, galleries, and quayside restaurants. Even closer for shopping and eating out are the towns of Sant Lluis and Es Castell. There are sandy beaches within a short drive at Binibeca, Punta Prima and Alcaufar (our favourite.) We hold a Spanish Tourist Licence and have been accredited a VHRC (Verified Holiday Rental Certificate) locally, as our accommodation meets a high standard with tasteful furniture and furnishings and is thoughtfully equipped. The main house is all on one level so is well suited for the elderly or wheel chair users. The central area of the house comprises a sun-lounge, which looks out on to the pool, with two comfy sofas.
