Easy access and perfect location (less than 200m from the minimarket, pharmacy, kiosk and children's playground and only 400m from the stunning Roche beach). Casa Encinar is an excellent choice if you are travelling with children or elderly people. Although it was built only 10 years ago, the house has a charm and atmosphere normally only seen in older houses. The use of weathered wood as well as the traditional whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and typical multicoloured mosaics give it an unmistakable flavour of a traditional Andalusian country house - even though it is located in the centre of a luxury urbanisation (with all kinds of services) and only 5 minutes walk from a stunning beach. Situated less than 200 metres from one of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz, Casa Almadraba offers that combination of beach, comfortable home and mature garden that is so hard to find on the Cádiz coast. The house is situated in the exclusive urbanisation of Roche, in a quiet cul-de-sac that ends in a flight of steps leading directly down to the beach, which stretches 7km in one direction to the old tuna fishing port of Sancti Petri and in the other some 500 metres to the small sandstone cliffs that rise to form a series of small coves known as the Calas de Conil . The house, with its Andalusian style (whitewashed walls and tiled roofs) was built just under 20 years ago. It is surrounded by a mature garden of Mediterranean pines, palm trees, gum trees, bougainvillea and wisteria. It is an elegant Atlantic beach house, just a short walk (1km) or bike ride from one of the most spectacular stretches of sandy beach on the Costa de la Luz. Situated at the rear of the urbanisation of Roche, the location is quiet, yet less than 5 minutes by bike from the local minimarket (fresh bread), bar and children's playground. The 19th century writer Ramón María del Valle-Inclán's "Summer Sonata" transports the reader to the Caribbean coast of Mexico, where he experiences the passionate and stormy relationship between the Marquis of Bradomín and the Niña Chole, daughter and lover of local bandits. She is, in the words of the writer, an "exotic beauty bronzed with that strange, undulating grace of nomadic races" and gives her name to this unique house, whose creation was a labour of love on the part of its owner.
