Barx has 2 supermarkets which sell all the essentials, 3 butchers, 2 bakeries, 5 bars, two excellent restaurants, a pharmacy, a bricabrac shop, and electrical goods shop, two hairdressers, a bank and a doctor’s surgery. There is a market in the village square on Tuesday mornings, selling clothes, plants, ceramics, sweets and fresh fish. A short 20 minute drive trough orange groves and glorious mountain scenery brings you to the golden sandy beaches of the Costa del Azahar.
