The sizeable garden slopes gently down to a large 8km beach, fairly empty for most of the year. The garden itself is of a "controlled wilderness" type; juniper bushes (a protected species) break the rhythm of the large lawn, and several palm trees will whisper to us from on high with their slender trunks swaying gracefully in the wind. Atlantic Spain? Atlantic Caribbean? It could be either, really. Waves break rhythmically on the sand below, the breeze almost always warm or hot, and what could certainly be said to be heaven. As we walk through the front door, we are already confronted with the sea view and the spacious open plan living room. It is a single storey building, like all beachfront properties in this area, so the ceilings are high, creating a pleasant airy ambience throughout. Carefully selected antiques combine with wicker sofas and sisal rugs to provide a simple but classic décor. Large glass doors open onto a covered terrace that runs the width of the building, the open-air dining area at one end and comfortable seating at the other. The house is situated in the exclusive urbanisation of Roche, in a quiet cul-de-sac that ends in a flight of steps leading directly down to the beach, which stretches 7km in one direction to the old tuna fishing port of Sancti Petri and in the other some 500 metres to the small sandstone cliffs that rise to form a series of small coves known as the Calas de Conil . Built on one level, with very spacious rooms and terraces. Easy access and perfect location (less than 200m from the minimarket, pharmacy, kiosk and children's playground and only 400m from the stunning Roche beach). Casa Encinar is an excellent choice if you are travelling with children or elderly people. Although it was built only 10 years ago, the house has a charm and atmosphere normally only seen in older houses. The use of weathered wood as well as the traditional whitewashed walls, terracotta floors and typical multicoloured mosaics give it an unmistakable flavour of a traditional Andalusian country house - even though it is located in the centre of a luxury urbanisation (with all kinds of services) and only 5 minutes walk from a stunning beach. Welcome to paradise! Casa con Calma in the Urbanisation Roche near Conil was finished 2023 and is a house of pure luxury with an incredible roof terrace. When the gate opens, you can leave all problems behind. The garden with its tropical plants and the turquese shimmering pool will make you feel on holidays immediately. The house was decorated with a lot of love to details and natural materials. On the ground floor you will find the living room with two comfy sofas and a beautiful large dining table. A sliding glass door opens the view to the hall so house is very generous and light. There are also sliding doors to the attached kitchen.
