MirafloresSituated between the seaside towns of Fuengirola and Marbella in the southern coastal province of Malaga, Miraflores is a beautiful garden urbanization, located within walking distance to the beach and incorporating heaps of facilities such as restaurants, bars, supermarkets, gym complex and golf.
The zone is situated 25 minutes from Malaga airport, 10 minutes from Fuengirola and only fifteen minutes from the beautiful resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus.
Things to doMiraflores offers everything you could wish for in a family holiday, centrally located on the Costa del Sol and close to the beach.
If you didn’t leave the urbanisation for a week you wouldn’t be bored, the facilities are endless: swimming pools, tennis, golf, gymnasiums, lawn bowls, golf academy, and horse riding are all on offer. Plus at the local beach you can partake in a selection of water sports including scuba diving, sailing, wind surfing, and jet skiing.
In the nearby town of Fuengirola you have further facilities and attractions, including the Mijas Aqua Park and the Fuengirola Bioparc (Zoo).
Eating outThe urbanisation of Miraflores offers a good selection of bars and restaurants, mainly international i.e. not typically Spanish.
ClimateMiraflores enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable, temperatures are an average of 32 ºC in summer.
