These self-catering cottages also locally known as casa rural are located in the heart of Las Alpujarras in the National Park in Sierra Nevada near Granada, Andalusia. The unique geographical location makes it ideal from the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean to the south and the Alhambra in Granada to the north. This cortijo (one of 3) is ideally situated for a couple looking for a break from it all. It is self contained with its own bathroom, kitchen/sitting room and one double bedroom. It has its own private terrace with seating, bbq, hammock and stunning views. It is set in large gardens with a wide variety of fruit trees as well as grassed areas and guests are welcome to wander wherever they like. It is only a short walk from the swimming pool. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. This bedroom also has its own mini terrace, totally private and only with access from the bedroom. The thick walls of this cortijo keep it beautifully cool in the summer months. Outside the cortijo there is a large covered secluded wooden terrace for exclusive use of guests staying in this cortijo, surrounded by grapes and fig trees with ample room for relaxing and eating. It has panoramic views to the Trevelez valley in the East and South to the coast. There is also a barbeque area directly outside the house as well as a hammock, both next to the terrace.
