Mata is near Banyoles which is a nice city to travel to

The nearest coast was quite far, but beautiful. we went to Tossa de mar and Roses .

Facilities good for food shoppingNot many good restaurants within walking distance of house but better choice in main town of Banyoles.Lake was a bonus for swimming and watersports and walking

Mata review

Mata is een klein dorp maar heeft wel alle voorzieningen aanwezig en wat niet aanwezig is haal je gewoon in Bayole 2 km verderop.

Wij zijn erg bekend in deze omgeving daar wij al 8 jaar kampeerden in St. per pescador. We kennen de omgeving erg goed.We zijn hierover altijd erg enthousiast.

Mata review

Mata zelf is een vrij eenvoudig, rustig dorpje met de typische bakker, een slagertje en op ongeveer 500m de eerste grote supermarkten. Banyoles daarentegen op ongeveer 2 km afstand heeft heeft toeristisch gezien veel meer te bieden met haar historische kern en de wekelijkse markt. Het bij Banyoles gelegen meer is de moeite waard, maar fietsen zijn daarbij toch een aanrader.
