Budget villas in Nerja

Nerja is a small and cosy town in Andalusia, on the south coast, Costa del Sol. Here, you can find many nice and cheap villas in different areas, depending on what you prefer. In Nerja, you are never far from a beach. There are a number of different coves with beaches in Nerja, with Burriana - The largest and finest beach east of town. The beach is long, wide, and lined with restaurants and cafés. Here you will find all the amenities you could possibly need. About 10 kilometers east of Nerja, you'll find Playa de la Cala el Cañuelo, a small bay with a nice beach. Since many tourists settle for one of the more nearby beaches, this beach is mostly quiet. Maro, which is located east of Nerja, also has a wonderful beach. The beach has been voted Adalusia's best beach. It's simple to understand why. The clean water and beautiful surrounds make it impossible not to have a good time. There is a kiosk and a chiringuito here that provides simple and wonderful lunch dishes.

You may already know that Spain is known for tapas, almost every corner has a tapas place. In addition to tapas, raciones, or tiny plates of veggies, fries, meat, or fish, are popular in Spanish restaurants. Full servings are more popular in Nerja's international restaurants. Traditional pasta meals and pizza can be found in the newer part of Nerja, down Calle Castilla Pérez. Despite its tiny size, Nerja has two restaurants that have both been given a "plate" in the national Michelin Guide España 2021. They are also conveniently located on Calle Pintada, one of the two main pedestrian streets in the old town.

Frigiliana, 6 kilometers from Nerja, is frequently called the most beautiful white village in Andalusia. The city is postcard-like, with a maze of paved cobblestones and well-preserved white houses covered with flowerpots overflowing with bougainvillea, lavender, and jasmine.

Acebuchal is an incredibly lovely village located in the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijar, and Alhama Natural Park. It's located only 12 kilometers from Frigiliana. Visit the wonderful, homey family restaurant for a bite to eat.

Every year in August, Nerja has a song and dance festival. Flamenco dancers and performers with instruments can be seen here. On March 15-16, San Isidro's pilgrimage, is held. People in traditional clothes parade to the altar of saints, which is located outside the city.

A walk along the Balcón de Europa provides stunning panoramic views of the entire coastline and is a must-do during your holiday to Nerja. This is the most prominent monument and a hub for the city's activities

El Cielo, is the highest mountain in the area, standing at 1,508 meters. A trek to the peak stimulates your senses, is easily accessible, and has breathtaking views. On a bright and sunny day, you can see the entire Costa del Sol.

The Cuevas de Nerja is located between Nerja and Maro. The caves were found in 1959, by a group of Maro residents. It has since become one of Nerja's most cherished attractions. In July, a music festival is held inside the caves.
