Pueblo Mascarat

Pueblo Mascarat is a residential complex situated between the towns of Altea and Calpe, within the prestigious Altea Hills Estate on the Costa Blanca, in the southern-most-point of Valencia. The urbanisation is set in a privileged location, the Mascarat mountain range backdrops the complex, which is situated beach-front in Altea bay, boasting wonderful views to the bay and Mediterranean Sea.

Pueblo Mascarat is well connected to the rest of the Costa Blanca and Valencia region. Alicante International Airport is just under an hour’s drive away.

The charming town of Altea is a wonderful example of a coastal town, which has managed to retain its old world charm and traditions, yet blends in beautifully along the coast.

Altea has excellent amenities, however, if you want all-night discos and bright city lights on your holiday, give Altea a miss. This town is a holiday haven for the more discerning tourist who will be captivated by its medieval cobbled streets, its picture book old quarter and the delights of its palm-fringed seafront promenade.

The ancient fishing village of Calpe is now one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Blanca. Calpe has a long and rich history and is dominated by the Rock of Ifach, a towering rock, which soars up 332m above the sea and town.

The town of Calpe mixes old and new perfectly, with the old Moorish quarter and the modern Paseo Maritimo. There is a also a modern marina where you can catch a boat trip to nearby Benidorm.

Pueblo Mascarat Residential Complex is made up of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments and duplexes, affording fabulous views and all with direct access to the beach.

Leisure facilities & amenities
The properties are set in attractive landscaped gardens with community swimming pools and paddle tennis courts on site.

Pueblo Mascarat is set within the Altea Hills Estates, where residents can enjoy a host of leisure facilities. The five-star Melia Altea Hills and the Altea Hills Club resort offer residents the opportunity to enjoy spa and beauty facilities, restaurants and cafes.

The Don Cayo Golf Club and Luis Campomanes Sports Marina are also located close by, and both offer Pueblo Mascarat residents an exclusive services package.

Seafood and rice dishes are the base of the local gastronomy. Paella is one of the emblematic dishes, as are shellfish, grilled or boiled and fish, fried, stewed, or in soup.

Wines, with Designation of Origin - Alicante (the prestigious seal of quality and origin given in Spain to select wines and products) should definitely be sampled. Misteleta (a sweet wine); and horchata (a drink made from tiger nuts), are both typical of the region.

The coastal region around Altea and Calpe enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees.

In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate of the area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round destination.
