C’an Pastilla is an attractive beach resort located to the east of the Bay of Palma, Mallorca. It sits next to the capital of the Island Palma. The resort is pretty relaxed and suits families and those looking for a more laid-back beach resort.
Still if you want to enjoy more leisure attractions and nightlife, then you don’t have to go very far as Europe’s largest water park is close by, as is the nightlife and of Palma and Magaluf.
The airport is located in close proximity to C’an Pastilla, around 15 minutes drive. This can be a little noisy at times. About town C’an Pastilla started its life as a small fishing village, but during the sixties when Mallorca became a popular destination, so to the little fishing village grew into a beach resort.
Still it has not grown much bigger, the town doesn’t comprise of much more than its main avenue and retains much of its traditional ‘fishing village’ charm. The main street branches off to smaller, narrow streets and alleys, which lead down to the pretty harbour and the local maritime club.
There is a promenade that leads out from the east side of town along to the neighbouring resort of Arenal. Beaches The beach at C’an Pastilla is clean, with lovely golden sand, water sports and the attractive promenade, which is lined with bars and restaurants. If you get bored with the local beach, you can easily visit all of the neighbouring beaches and resorts, which sit in the Bay of Palma.
Places to visit There are no shortage of cultural and leisure attractions in the region around C’an Pastilla. For a start the little town is located next to the capital Palma, a wonderful city, full of interesting cultural attractions, great restaurants and vibrant atmosphere.
For the children C’an Pastilla is located close to Aqualand Arenal, the largest water park in Europe. Climate Mallorca enjoys a typical Mediterranean weather, with mild winters and hot summers. During the months of July and August, the weather is hot and beautifully sunny, boasting around 11 hours of sun daily. During the winter, the weather can get chilly, but is generally you can enjoy fine, mild weather on most days.
Beautiful beach and wonderful sunsets. Fantastic walk and cycle ways that stretch for miles and cheap bike hire easily available. A lovely bar accessible for all stops along the way offering sangria and other welcome beverages is Caiprahna. The people are very hospitable and everything on offer is good value.
